Location Information

Yerseke is a village situated on the southern shore of the Oosterschelde. It is part of the Reimerswaal municipality located in the province of Zeeland, in the south-western Netherlands. It is approx 13ms east of Goes. The graves of 2 airmen; one Australian and one British are located in the old part of the cemetery, take the 1st path on the right and continue for approx 200m. The graves can be found on the right in Section IX. The cemetery address is:- Molenlaan, Yerseke.

Son of Walter James Hockley and Minnie Blanche Hockley, of Strathfield, New South Wales, Australia.

​His headstone bears the inscription
 "Greater Love Hath No Man Than This. He Gave His Life For Us"
