Identified in the front row, fourth from the right is 409983 Flight Sergeant James Brock (Royal Australian Air Force) who was killed in an accident in Northampton, Western Australia on 24th October 1943. Plot A. B. 15. Son of James and Annie Victoria Brock, of West Gippsland, Victoria.

Studio portrait of 80118 Leading Aircraftman (LAC) Thomas Noel Ryder Raston, 14 Squadron RAAF of Perth, WA. He enlisted on 9 April 1942. The Squadron operated out of RAAF Base Pearce, undertaking submarine patrols along the coast of West Australia. LAC Raston was accidentally killed at Northampton, WA, on 24 October 1943.
