Output was completely unaffected due to the stock of parts on hand. 179 people were killed.

Shot down by a night-fighter flown by Lt. Josef Förster, of 8./NJG2 in the Wittlich area of Germany. Crashed onto the village of Volmerange les Mines, France- close to the border with Luxembourg.
