Vielle-St Girons is a commune embracing the rather inaccessible villages of Vielle and St Girons, which are 3.2 kilometres apart. It is 60 kilometres west of Mont de-Marsan and some 72 kilometres by road north of the large town of Bayonne (Basse Pyrennees). This Communal Cemetery is in the village of St Girons, which is about 1 kilometre from the coast at the junction of the main road from Bayonne and the road to Castets. It is on the south-eastern side of the village and north of the Castets road. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945, north of the entrance near the rear wall.
