VIAS COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information
Vias is a village and commune 50 kilometres south-west of Montpellier, and about 21 kilometres east of the town of Beziers.
The communal cemetery is west of the village and west of the church on the south side of a track turning of the road from Beziers. The joint grave of two British airmen is south-east of the entrance.

158091 Flying Officer George William Yerby, Navigator in 23 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 11th April 1944, aged 23. Son of Henry John William Yerby and Rose Norah Yerby.
