Curbar is a Derbyshire village, 12 miles north of Matlock. Near the church is a memorial (below) to the fallen from the villages of Curbar, Calver and Froggatt.

Burial Details
27059 Private George Victor Bradwell, "B" Coy. 12th Bn. Sherwood Foresters, died 18th October 1915, aged 23. Son of Thomas & Elizabeth Bradwell. The grave inscription reads "He shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away" Grave ref. 133.
