Barlow is a Derbyshire village situated 3.5 miles north-west of Chesterfield. The churchyard contains two burials of the Great War:
Sapper Fred MARGERESON. WR/352250 Royal Engineers. Died 6th Nov. 1918, aged 23. Son of Isaac and Mary Margereson. Grave in north-east part.
Warrant Officer Class II, W. YOUNG. 47586. 2nd East Anglian Bde. Ammunition Column, Royal Field Artillery. 22nd February 1916. Grave in south-west part.
