ST. ERTH CHURCH CEMETERY

Location Information 

St. Erth is a small village located between Camborne and Hayle just off the A39.


There are four Commonwealth burials in the cemetery.


Burial Details

​5440041 Private Reginald Owen James, died in the Military Hospital, Bodmin, Cornwall on 3rd February 1940. Plot 4. Row 3. Grave 17.

7519349 Corporal John Maynard, Royal Army Medical Corps, died 10th January 1946, aged 42. Plot 4. Row 2. Grave 2. 
Husband of Lucy Maynard, of Aldershot, Hampshire.

1380822 Sergeant Jamie Kitchener Wendle Paul, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 218 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 23rd April 1942, aged 27. Plot 3. Row 3. Grave 3. Son of William Angwin Paul and Fanny Evelyn Paul, of St. Erth.

203542 Private William Charles Trevarthen, 4th Bn., Wiltshire Regiment, died 12th September 1917, aged 29. Husband of Ethel Maud Trevarthen, of Under Cliff, Phillack, Hayle.
