Tramont-Lassus is a village and commune nearly 38 kilometres south-south-west of Nancy and 20 kilometres east-north-east of Neufchateau, a town on the main road from Nancy to Langres. The communal cemetery Is on the northern side of the village on the road to Fecocourt. Near, and south-west of, the French Memorial Cross in the centre of the cemetery is the grave of a Canadian airman.

J/92127 Pilot Officer Ross William Lough, Air Gunner in 630 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force, died 25th July 1944, aged 23. Son of George and Victoria Lough, of Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
