Toulouse (La Fourguette) Communal Cemetery

Location Information

Toulouse, a large cathedral town on the River Garonne, is the chief town of the Department of Haute-Garonne. The cemetery is south-west of the town, in the suburb of La Fourguette. There are 8 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, west of the entrance (which is opposite the church).

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 6th April 1944, aged 23. Son of Arthur and Minnie Maria Senior, of Dinnington, Yorkshire. His headstone bears the inscription "In Loving Memory Of My Dear Son. He Died That We Might Live"

1370713 Leading Aircraftman Alfred John Walters, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 13th March 1945, aged 25. Son of John William and Jeanie Lyall Walters, of Possilpark, Glasgow. His headstone bears the inscription "For As In Adam All Die, Even So In Christ Shall All Be Made Alive i Cor. XV.22"

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 6th April 1944. Son of Charles and Mary Ann Wilson. His headstone bears the inscription "Never Shall Thy Memory Fade"

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 6th April 1944, aged 21. 
Son of Annie Woolley, of Nottingham. His headstone bears the inscription "To Have, To Love, To Lose And When God Wills, To Find. Worthy Of Remembrance"
