Thélus is a village and commune some 7 kilometres north of Arras, about 1 kilometre east of the main road (N.25) to Lens and Lille. The communal cemetery is about 365 metres north of the church in a by-road leading from the church to the main road. In the north-eastern part, on the eastern side of the main path from the calvary and entrance at the south of the cemetery, are the graves of 3 soldiers from the United Kingdom, 2 of whom are not identified.
