​Location Information

Taule is a village and commune 6 kilometres north-west of Morlaix.

The communal cemetery is on the northern side of the village west of the road to St. Pol-de-Léon. South (left) of the entrance, and close to the boundary wall, are the graves of five airmen of the Royal Air Force and one belonging to the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th October 1942, aged 21. Son of Joseph and Florence Cheetham, of Kitt Green, Wigan, Lancashire. His headstone bears the inscription "Loved With A Love Beyond All Words Parted With A Grief Beyond All Tears"

44802 Flying Officer Malcolm Graeme Grant, 10 O. T. U. 
Royal Air Force, died 29th October 1942, aged 27. Son of Herbert Stanley and Marion Grant; husband of Kathleen De Angelis Grant, of Tooting, Surrey. His headstone bears the inscription "Loved Husband Of Kathleen, Brother Of Marjorie"

1389460 Sergeant Gilbert Charles James Heywood, 10. O. T. U. 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th October 1942, aged 20. Son of Hubert and Elizabeth May Heywood, of Llanfoist, Monmouthshire. His headstone bears the inscription "Rock Of Ages, Cleft For Me Hide Myself In Thee" At Rest

1236807 Sergeant Edward Marsden, 10 O. T. U. 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th October 1942. Son of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Marsden, of Swinton, Lancashire.

R/93957 Flight Sergeant James David Maxwell, 10. O. T. U. 
Royal Canadian Air Force, died 29th October 1942, aged 19.

Son of James and Mae Maxwell, of Jasper Park, Alberta, Canada. His headstone bears the inscription " His Charming Ways, His Smile, Are A Pleasure To Recall. He Died Beloved By All"

123953 Pilot Officer William Ferries Raffan, 10 O. T. U. 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th October 1942, aged 25. Son of William and Margaret Ann Raffan; husband of Margaret Raffan, of Ossett, Yorkshire. His headstone bears the inscription "May The World Remember And Allow The Son He Never Knew To Live In Peace"
