Location Information
Ste. Geneviève is a village and commune 10 miles (16 kilometres) south-east of Beauvais, and 5 miles (8 kilometres) north-east of Meru. The communal cemetery lies on a local road north-east of the village, and the graves of the 2 United Kingdom and 1 Australian airmen are in the new part, to the left-hand side of the central path.
Historical Information
Hit by Flak and crashed 0130, bursting into flames some 500 metres W of Saint-Genevieve (Oise), 18 km SSE of Beauvais. Three of the crew members are buried here, the other four are buried in Marissel French National Cemetery at Beauvais.
