Location Information

Ste. Catherine is a village adjoining Arras on the north-western side. The cemetery is located on the Bethune Road (D63) from Arras to Lens.

There are 11, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site, 4 are unidentified.

1321473 Flight Sergeant Richard Harry Ames, Air Bomber in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 16th June 1944.

2814570 Private Alexander Fraser, 6th Bn. Seaforth Highlanders, died 21st May 1940, aged 39. Son of Alexander and Isabella Fraser, of Fochabers, Morayshire, husband of Elizabeth Jane May Fraser, of Fochabers.

1458651 Flight Sergeant Harold Harris, Navigator in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 16th June 1944, aged 21. Son of Wolfe and Jennie Harris, of Hull. Table Tennis Champion of Hull, 1941.

1388549 Flight Sergeant Paul Long-Hartley, Air Gunner in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 16th June 1944, aged 20. Son of Arthur Norman and Rosa Pauline Hartley, of Muswell Hill, Middlesex.

622838 Flight Sergeant Sidney Parr, Flight Engineer in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 16th June 1944.

176275 Pilot Officer Norman James Tutt, Pilot in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 16th June 1944, aged 21. Son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Tutt, of Maidstone, Kent.

53787 Flying Officer William Thomas Williams, Air Gunner in 582 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 16th June 1944, aged 23. Son of Florence Williams; husband of Irene Williams, of Willesden, Middlesex.
