​Location Information

St.Utin is a village and commune some 48 kilometres south-east of Châlons-en-Champagne and 21 kilometres south of Vitry-le-François. In the northern corner of the churchyard are buried six airmen from the United Kingdom.

Flight Engineer in 619 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
19th July 1944, aged 19.

Son of Colonel Ernest Elliot Buckland Mackintosh, D.S.O., and of Marion Constance Mackintosh (nee Talbot-Ponsonby), of St. John's Wood, London.

His headstone bears the inscription "Our Young Fear This Alone; To Give Too Little"

Son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lebatt; husband of Marie I. Lebatt, of Victoria, London. His headstone bears the inscription "I Shall Never forget The Happiness You Gave Me. God Bless, Sleep Well. Marie"

175625 Flying Officer Stephen Bickford Morcom, Pilot in 619 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 19th July 1944, aged 22. Son of Joseph and Marjorie Morcom, of Kirby Muxloe, Leicestershire. His headstone bears the inscription "There Shall Be No Night There"

1392293 Flight Sergeant Alfred Myres, Air Gunner in 619 Squadron, 
Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 19th July 1944, aged 22. Son of Myer and Rebecca Volcovitch. His headstone bears the inscription "There Is Music In The Midst Of Desolation And A Glory That Shines Upon Our Tears"

Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 19th July 1944.

1514358 Flight Sergeant Samuel Whitehurst, Navigator in 619 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 19th July 1944, aged 21. 
Son of Samuel and Mary Whitehurst, of Liverpool. His headstone bears the inscription "Forget Not The Fields Where They Perished, The Truest, The Last Of The Brave"
