St. Maxent is a village about 15 kilometres south-south-west of Abbeville on the road to Blangy-sur-Bresle and Rouen (N28). The Communal Cemetery is north-east of the village on a by-road leading to Warcheville. In the south-western part, near the western wall are the graves of three British soldiers, one of whom is not identified.
