The village and commune of St. Denis-d'Anjou is 10 kilometres south-west of Sable-sur-Sarthe, a small town on the Laval-La Fleche road (N.159). The cemetery is some 200 metres south of the church, on a by-road leading to the hamlet of St. Martin-les-Coins. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, in the northern part, northwest of the path from the entrance to the monument in the centre.

748644 Serjeant James Lee, 210 Battery, 53 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 20th April 1940, aged 35. Son of James and Agnes Lee, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Elizebeth Ellen Lee, of Bolton. His headstone bears the inscription "Resting Where No Shadows Fall In Perfect Peace He Awaits Us All"
