Location Information
Oye-Plage is a small town 14 kilometres east of Calais on the coast. When approaching Oye Plage on the D940 from Calais, turn right at the first set of traffic lights. The car park for the Communal Cemetery will be found some 75 metres from the lights on the right hand side, and the war graves will be found in the far left hand corner of the Communal Cemetery.

Please note that the Commission Plot within this cemetery is one of four Commission sites currently being used to demonstrate horticultural climate change adaptations. Cemetery opening hours: Summer - 09:00 to 18:00 Winter - 09:00 to 17:00
History Information
There were originally 27 war casualties buried in this cemetery. The remainder were brought in by the Army Graves Service from Gravelines and Houtkerque. There are now over 100, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, nearly half are unidentified. The war graves plot was designed by Paul Cornu.
