Location Information

Oisterwijk is 6 kilometres east-north-east of Tilburg, 3 kilometres south-east of the main road from 'S-Hertogenbosch to Tilburg. The Protestant churchyard is located in the Kerkstraat opposite house no 53. The single U. K. grave is located 50 meters straight ahead from the entrance.

Burial Details

4613918 Corporal Robert Edward Kirk, 5/7th Bn. Gordon Highlanders, died 29th January 1945, aged 23. Son of Joseph and Florance Kirk, of Bellingham, London. His headstone bears the inscription "In Memory Of Bob Our Loving Son And Brother And His Little Dutch Friend Aiphons"
