MILLERY COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information

Millery is a village 14 kilometres north of Nancy. The communal cemetery is east of the village, on the road to Nomeny. Near the western boundary wall are the graves of 4 airmen, 3 from New Zealand and 1 from the U. K. 


Burial Details


421496 Pilot Officer Ian Edward Blance, Pilot in 75 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, died 29th July 1944, aged 21.
Son of John William and Ivy Bertha Blance, of New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand.


4310148 Flight Sergeant Frederick Walter Percival Climo, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 75 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, died 29th July 1944, aged 22. Son of Frederick Linton Climo and Alice Mary Climo, of Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand; husband of Margaret Eva Climo (nee Ireland), of Timaru.

429888 Flight Sergeant Frederick Francis Arthur Jenkins, Air Gunner in 75 Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force, died 29th July 1944, aged 30. Son of Frederick Charles Jenkins and of Marie Jenkins, (nee Ashley), of Okato, Taranaki, New Zealand; husband of Joan Jenkins, of New Plymouth, Taranaki.

1575186 Warrant Officer Ronald Howard Spencer, Air Bomber in 75 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th July 1944, aged 21. Son of William H. Spencer and Elsie Spencer, of Bescot, Staffordshire. INSCRIPTION. DEARLY BELOVED SON OF WILLIAM AND ELSIE SPENCER "O REST IN THE LORD" R.I.P.
