Location Information
Méteren (Mont des Cats) Communal Cemetery is situated on one of the 3 'Mountains' of Flanders. This 'mountain' is clearly visible to the north of Méteren, a town in the north of France between Hazebrouck and Bailleul, as it has a large television mast on the top. The Communal Cemetery is at the base of the mast and the Commonwealth war graves plot is opposite the main gate.
Historical Information
There are 24, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. Of these, 7 are unidentified.
