FOLSCHETTE (RAMBROUCH) CHURCHYARD

Location Information

Rambrouch, a village administered by the commune of Folschette about 3 kilometres to the south-east, is situated 45 kilometres north-west of Luxembourg, the capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It lies 10 kilometres east of the Belgian border and the main Bastogne-Arlon (Belgium) road. The church stands in Rue Principale, the main road through the village. The churchyard surrounds the church, which stands in the centre of the village. The Commonwealth graves are close to the north-west corner of the church.

1202956 Sergeant Owen Kidd Barclay, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 102 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 9th September 1942, aged 25. 
Son of William Mitchell Barclay and Maggie Kidd Barclay; husband of Gwendoline May Barclay.

1375165 Flight Sergeant Francis Harold John Farrell, Pilot in 102 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 9th September 1942, aged 28. 
Son of Francis James Farrell and Winifred Dorothy Farrell, of Forest Gate, Essex husband of Lilian Gertrude Farrell, of llford, Essex.

655774 Sergeant John Goodson Phillips, Navigator in 102 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 9th September 1942, aged 25.  
Son of Charles and May Louise Phillips.
