Location Information

Trois Vierges is 45 kilometres north-north-west of Diekirch, and lies 8 kilometres west of the road to St.Vith (Belgium). Bas Bellain is a village 4 kilometres north-west of Trois Vierges, by which it is administered, and lies close to the Belgian border. The churchyard surrounds the church, which is in the centre of the village. The Commonwealth burials are near the west boundary wall.

Burial Details

563473 Sergeant Charles James Ernest Dockrill, Pilot in 218 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 11th May 1940, aged 26. Son of Charles Graham Harris Dockrill and Anne Dockrill, of Hounslow, Middlesex.

563966 Sergeant Percival Frank Dormer, Observer in 218 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 11th May 1940, aged 27. Son of Harry Johnson Dormer and Mildred Dormer, of Freshwater, Isle of Wight.

551303 Aircraftman 1st Class Kenneth George Gregory, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 218 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 11th May 1940, aged 20. 
Son of John and Emily Jane Gregory, of Bude, Cornwall.
