Location Information
The village of Lommel is located north-east of the town of Mol on the N71. From the motorway E313, which runs between Antwerpen and Liege, turn off at junction 23 Geel-West and onto the N19 direction Geel. Follow the N19 to the junction with the N71 and turn onto the N71 direction Turnhout.
Historical Information
Lommel German War cemetery is located at Kattenbos in the municipality of Lommel, Belgium. It is the largest German military cemetery in Western Europe outside Germany itself. Established after World War II, the cemetery holds 39,102 burials, mainly from World War II.
