Les Sables-d'Olonne is a seaside resort 63 miles (100 kilometres) north of La Rochelle and 56 miles (90 kilometres) south of Nantes. The new communal cemetery (La Foire-aux-Chats) is on the north-east side of the village, on the Rue du Docteur Laennec. There are 4 Commonwealth burials of the 1939-1945 war here, 1 of which is unidentified, to the right of the main path from the entrance.

Son of John and Annie Brady; husband of Joan Brady, of Paddington, London. INSCRIPTION. IN MEMORY OF PATRICK DEVOTED HUSBAND OF JOAN AND DADDY OF TONY AND ALLAN R.I.P.
