The village and commune of Le Fidelaire lies 26 kilometres west-south-west of Evreux and about 9 kilometres west of Conches. The communal cemetery is some 500 yards north-east of the church, on a by-road running parallel to the railway line. The two Commonwealth war graves are in the south-eastern corner of the cemetery.

124782 Flight Lieutenant Henry Dixie Churchill, D. F. C. & Bar. Pilot in 156 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 7th May 1944, aged 29. Son of Willoughby Dixie Churchill and Kathleen Annie Churchill, of Stow, Norfolk. His headstone bears the inscription "Greater Love Than This Hath No Man"
