Launstroff is a village near the Luxembourg frontier, 44 kilometres north-east of Metz. The communal cemetery is some 500 metres south of the church, on the road to Waldwisse. The Commonwealth war grave is near the south-eastern boundary.

75278 Second Lieutenant Norman Duncan, 5th Bn. Gordon Highlanders, died 14th May 1940, aged 22. Son of James Thomson Duncan and Elsie Ellen Duncan, of Aberdeen.
