Laissac is a village and commune in the Department of Aveyron, 20 kilometres east of Rodez, the chief town of the department and some 13 kilometres south-east of Bozouls, a small town. The village is situated at the junction of the Rodez-Severac road and the road to Gabriac. The cemetery is west of a track leading off the north side of the road from Rodez. A British soldier who died during the 1939-1945 War is buried in the private vault of the Solinhac family.
