La Rouge is a village 10 kilometres south-west of Nogent-le-Rotrou. From Nogent-le-Rotrou, travel West along the D955 towards Belleme. At Berd'huis, turn left along the D11 and continue through La Rouge. The communal cemetery is on the southern side of the village, on the D11 road to Le Theil. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, in the angle near the middle of the west wall.

1482611 Flight Sergeant Robert Bensley, Flight Engineer in 298 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 25th August 1944, aged 22. Son of Walter and Florence Bensley, of Nunsthorpe, Grimsby, Lincolnshire. His headstone bears the inscription "At The Going Down Of The Sun and In The Morning We Will Remember Him"
