Location Information

La Boissière is a village and commune 5 miles (8 kilometres) west of Lisieux, on the main Lisieux to Caen road, N.13. The church is 400 yards south of the N.13 road, on the D.103 road to Livarot. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, near the entrance.



Burial Details

2181459 Serjeant Robert Parker, 5/7th Bn. Gordon Highlanders, died 23rd August 1944, aged 30. Son of Robert and Annie Parker; husband of Hilda Parker, of Stratton St. Margaret, Swindon, Wiltshire.​ His headstone bears the inscription "In Loving Memory Of My Dear Husband, A Daily Thought, An Everlasting Memory"
