​Location Information

Glonville is a village and commune some 45 kilometres south-east of Nancy and 4 kilometres north-west of Baccarat, a town on the road from Luneville to St. Die (Vosages). The communal cemetery is on the northern side of the village in a by-road leading from the church to Agerailles. The three British graves are near the centre of the cemetery, in the front row of the east plot.

29th July 1944, aged 20. 

Son of William and Mary Armstrong, of Camelon, Falkirk, Stirlingshire.

His headstone bears the inscription "Translated From The World Of Warfare Into The Peace Of God"

Frederick Victor Kibbey, M.C., and Elizabeth Kibbey, of Staple Hill, Gloucestershire. His headstone bears the inscription Youngest Son Of Major And Mrs. F. V. Kibbey "They Shall Not Grow Old" R. I. P.

1459137 Sergeant Douglas Jerome Thomas, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 103 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 29th July 1944.
