Garancières-en-Drouais is a village and commune 32 kilometres north west of Chartres and 8 kilometres south-west of Dreux.
The communal cemetery is north-east of the village, on the western side of a rough road leading to the neighbouring village of Allainville. The one British grave is near the middle of the western wall.

937626 Sergeant Sydney Wallace Johnson, Wireless Operator/Air Gunner in 40 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 14th June 1940, aged 19. Son of William and Olive Johnson, of Derby.
