Location Information

Frénouville is a village and commune 6 miles (10 kilometres) south-east of Caen, and about 1 kilometre south-east of Cagny, a village on the N.13 main road from Caen to Lisieux. Frenouville village lies 400 yards south-west of this main road. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, 8 yards northeast of the church tower.


Burial Details

409775 Flying Officer Alfred Ernest Roberts, Pilot in 164 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, died 6th June 1944, aged 26. Son of Alfred Ernest and Georgina Roberts, of Middle Park, Victoria, Australia. His headstone bears the inscription "Our Beloved Son"
