EINDHOVEN JEWISH CEMETERY

Location Information

Eindhoven Jewish Cemetery is in the north-western district of the town, south of the main road to s'Hertogenbosch and about 2 kilometres from the railway station. The war graves are in the south-eastern part of the cemetery.


Visiting Information

The Jewish cemetery is located in the Groenewoudseweg in Eindhoven. 

Visitors should be aware that the cemetery is always closed. To gain entrance please contact Mr Johan Kersten. His telephone number is : 00 31 (0) 623775354.


Historical Information

There are a small number of 1939-1945 war casualties commemorated in this site.


Burial Details

15538 Private Z. Fischer, Palestine Regiment, died 15th October 1945.

1080134 Gunner Mark Isaaman, 190th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 17th December 1944, aged 31.

​1753022 Gunner Hyman Scriebman, 119th Lt. A. A. Regiment, Royal Artillery, died 29th December 1944, aged 37. 
Son of Joseph and Janie Shriebman; husband of Esther Shriebman, of Dalston, London.
