COUTURELLE COMMUNAL CEMETERY
Pas De Calais

Location Information

Couturelle is a village in the Department of the Pas-de-Calais some 25 kilometres west-south-west of Arras. Take the Arras - Doullens road, N25. Turn right at the first road after Warlincourt Halte Cemetery, in the direction of Couturelle village. The Cemetery is located on the right hand side of the road. Turn right on entering the cemetery and the two War Graves Plots will be found in the far corner of the cemetery.

World War One Burial Details


826 Private T. Coleman, 1st/5th The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, died 18th February 1916.

2315 Serjeant William John Leyland, 1st/5th Bn. The King's (Liverpool Regiment), died 19th March 1916, aged 24. Son of Alice Leyland, of 19, Shaw St., Liverpool, and the late James Leyland.

1995 Rifleman John William McLaren, 1st/5th Bn. The King's (Liverpool Regiment), died 18th February 1916, aged 20. Son of Andrew and the late Emma Clara McLaren.

3056 Rifleman T. L. Toole, 5th Bn. The King's (Liverpool Regiment), died 8th March 1916.


World War Two Burial Details


6289000 Private Frank James Jesse Foord, 5th Bn. The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), died 20th May 1940.
