Location Information

Capinghem is a village 8 kilometres west of Lille, on the main road to Armentieres. There is one British grave in the churchyard, near and south-west of the church.


Burial Details

2049678 Private Thomas James Manktelow, 1st Bn. East Lancashire Regiment, died 27th May 1940, aged 20. Son of Albert and Mary Ann Manktelow, of Stafford.
