Barbâtre is a village on the island of Noirmoutier, which is situated off the west coast of France and 32 kilometres south of the mouth of the River Loire and 76 kilometres west of La Roche-sur-Yon, the chief town of the Department of Vendée. Barbâtre Churchyard is about 2 kilometres from the end of the causeway. The War Graves are to the right of the central crucifix.
