Authie is a village situated 12 kilometres east-south-east of Doullens, a small town in the Department of the Somme on the N.16 road from Amiens to St. Pol, and 18 kilometres north-west of Albert, a town on the N.29 road from Amiens to Cambrai. In the south-eastern corner of the churchyard are the graves of two airmen who died on the 19th May 1940.
