Aumont is a village and commune some 27 kilometres west of Amiens and 14 kilometres north-west of Poix, a small town at the intersection of the N.29 (Amiens-Le Havre) and N. 1 (Calais-Paris) roads. The village is about 3 kilometres north-west of the N. 1 road . The communal cemetery is north of the village on the D.18 road to Airaines.
Historical Information
The two British graves are in the Military Plot in the north-eastern corner of the cemetery.

3191590 Private Robert George McCowan, 6th Bn. King's Own Scottish Borderers, died 5th September 1944, aged 25. Son of John and Mary McCowan, of Thornhill, Dumfriesshire.
14211754 Private Andrew Weir Strain, 6th Bn. King's Own Scottish Borderers, died 5th September 1944, aged 21. Husband of G. Strain, of Altrincham, Cheshire.
