St Mesmin is a village 18 kilometres north-west of Troyes and on the Paris to Troyes road. The New Communal Cemetery lies between the village and the main Troyes to Romilly road.
The graves of five British and one Australian airmen are on the far right side from the entrance.

Incident: crashed at St. Mesmin. Flight Lt. T. H. Blackham, D.F.C. and Flight Sgt. S. J. Godfrey escaped capture and survived the war.
