ST. LAURENT-DES-EAUX COMMUNAL CEMETERY

Location Information

St. Laurent-des-Eaux (also known as St. Laurent Novan) is a village and commune some 15 miles (25 kilometres) north-east of Blois. The town of Beaugency, is 4 miles (7 kilometres) to the north. The communal cemetery is north-east of the village on the west side of the road to Orleans. There is 1 Commonwealth burial of the 1939-1945 war here, east of the entrance.

Burial Details


1323941 Sergeant William Harvey Edward Rosetta, Navigator/Wireless Operator in 264 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, died 15th November 1943, aged 34. Son of Anthony William and Agnes Jessica Rosetta; husband of Violet Mary Rosetta, of Pinner, Middlesex. His headstone bears the inscription "Dearly Loved Husband Of Violet Mary. Forever In My Heart"
