 Location Information

Laboissière-St.Martin is a village and commune 36 kilometres west of Amiens, 30 kilometres south of Abbeville and 8 kilometres north-east of Aumale, a town at the intersection of the N.29 (Amiens-Le Havre) road. 
​
The communal cemetery is south of the village on the D.178 road to Lafresnoye. About 3 metres west of the entrance are the graves of two airmen, one of whom belonged to the Royal Air Force and the other to the Royal Australian Air Force.



Burial Details

421636 Pilot Officer Lionel Frederick Walter Burrow, Pilot in 466 Squadron, Royal Australian Air Force, died 9th August 1944, aged 20. Son of Charles William and Gladys Lillian May Burrow, of North Bondi, New South Wales, Australia.

1522815 Sergeant Peter George Mackay, Flight Engineer in 466 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 9th August 1944, aged 22. Son of Lt.-Col. G. F. Mackay and Sonia Mary Mackay, of Gorey, Jersey, Channel Islands.
