De Wijk is a village and commune in the province of Drenthe, 10 kilometres east of Meppel on the secondary road to Ommen. The cemetery is 500 yards south of the village, on the eastern side of the road to Ijhorst and Staphorst and contains one Australian Airman from World War Two.

412543 Sergeant Francis Graham Latham, Royal Australian Air Force, died 5th May 1943, aged 21. Son of Edward James Latham and Charlotte Emily Latham, of Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia. South. His headstone bears the inscription "Climbed The Hill To Paradise"
