There are no Commonwealth war cemeteries in Norway, those who died there being buried in civil cemeteries and churchyards. There are 74 in total, mainly from World War Two. We have now nearly 40 on our World War One and World War Two sites and we would like to say a big thank you to Åge Jakobsen for providing them. All pictures are © to Åge. Aseral Churchyard contains the collective grave of ten Commonwealth airmen who were shot down on 22 December 1944.
