Made is a village in the commune of Made-en-Drimmelen. It is 4 kilometres south of Drimmelen, 5 kilometres south-west of Geertruidenberg and 12 kilometres north of Breda. The churchyard is 500 yards from the end of the village, west of the road to Geertruidenberg. The British grave is in the north-east Part of the churchyard.

33559 Pilot Officer Gordon Emery Chandler, Pilot in 264 Squadron, Royal Air Force, died 13th May 1940, aged 20. Son of Alfred Leonard and Mary Gertrude Chandler, of Toddington, Bedfordshire.
